After the news broke on Tuesday that the PGA Tour would merge with LIV Golf, feelings of shock and disgust have been on my mind. I’m not a huge golf fan by any means, but golf has played a major role in my life on various levels, and the events of September 11th, 2001 also had a huge affect on my young adult years that are still affecting me and the career I chose to pursue. So perhaps I am more emotional about this merger than most.
Too see what I thought was an American organization openly collaborate with clear forces of evil that are not friendly to our national interests is the source of most of my shock.
It is easy to collaborate with the devil, when you don’t think the devil is out for you.
[Excerpted from a private text message conversation, in regards to the question of how this indicates white supremacy]
To me, it is a case of where ‘just business’ and getting back to business as usual is not an excuse to throw every principle you stood for under the bus, including your own people that defended you.
To believe this brazenly that money trumps all to the level of collaborating with clear forces of evil is the epitome of supremacy and privilege.
