Are You a Political (Anti-) Bellweather?
I am, and not necessarily proud of it. Ask me anything.
Roughly ten million Americans voted for Barack Obama in 2012, and then voted for Donald Trump in 2016.
I am one of these political unicorns. In fact, I have voted for the winning candidate in every presidential election since 2000 (the first election I was old enough to vote.)
According to Wikipedia, most of these voters were located in midwestern swing states, such as Wisconsin. Which is interesting, because the maternal side of my family is from Wisconsin (Milwaukee, to be exact.)
I would expect a similar number then voted for Joe Biden in 2020, after voting for Trump in 2016. But no definitive figures are available as of today.
Am I insane? Possibly. Ask me and find out! Or even better, are you an anti-bellweather (you have voted for every losing candidate?) That is the demographic I would like to know more about.
I will answer any reasonable question in the comments below!
